If you’re the type of person that worries about the environment, then the answer is simple. Without fuel, there’s no harm to the environment.

But even if we don’t factor in the environment, bike touring has lots of advantages like providing a different view of the places you travel to, enabling you to enjoy the simple things in life (nature, wild life…)  and it helps improving your physical attributes by burning fat and increasing your stamina.

2 – Choose a city, a country or even a continent – Get to know the most common terrain types of the place you’re going to, as well as markets, different accommodations, and other places that you think might be necessary to know about.

3 – Choose a bike – As you may already know there are different bikes for different activities and terrains, so, according to what you already know from the location you chose to travel to, pick the most suitable bike for you and remember that comfort will be important, as this bike will be your new best friend for some time. 7 – Know your limits – Keep in mind that everyone has their limits, don’t push yourself to the max otherwise you might get an injury that may stop you from continuing your journey. As well as with the weight of the bike, keep a balanced rhythm, one that fits you and that enables you to progress consistently.
